Campaigning can be carried out as per the code of conduct from the scheduled date of commencement of the campaign.’ In a separate press release on Thursday night, the Chief Returning Officer for DUCSU elections said that candidates participating in the elections will not be able to campaign in the halls or campus from August 21 to 25. At the same time, disciplinary action will be taken against them.
Today, it was seen on a tour of the Dhaka University campus that the official campaign has not yet started. However, candidates from different panels exchanged greetings with students after the Friday prayers. There, they made various promises to solve the students’ crisis.
